Once in Kilimanjaro

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international Airport, you will meet one of our representatives from HT Agency Tours Africa Safari who will greet you after an introduction you will start driving to Arusha city for overnight at your dedicated Lodge.

Tarangire National Park

In this program you will enjoy and witness the real nature of National Parks and adventures. You will have a good time to visit Tarangire National Park the home of Elephant in Tanzania, you will explore and get to see beautiful land scape of Lake Manyara escarpments, Ngorongoro highlands and Ngorongoro Crater.As well as endless plain of the Serengeti National Park with great wildebeest migration, you will also experience the Maasai tradition within their society.

DAY ONE Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport to River Trees Inn Arusha  for overnight.
DAY TWO Drive to Tarangire National Park for full day game drive overnight at   Manyara secret Lodge.
DAY THREE   Mto wa Mbu village walk and activities, with traditional Lunch then back to Manyara Secret Lodge for overnight.  
DAY FOUR Drive from Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro farm house for dinner and overnight.
DAY FIVE Full day crater tour overnight at Ngorongoro farm house.
DAY SIX Drive to Serengeti with game on route  via Olduvai gorge or Maasai village overnight Serengeti Serena Lodge.
DAY SEVEN Full day game drive in Serengeti overnight Serengeti Serena Lodge.
DAY EIGHT After breakfast check out and drive to Seronera Air strip to catch flight to Arusha city for departure.

For safe operation

  • Given the fluid nature of local COVID-19 protocols, our itineraries are regularly reviewed and will be modified based on local requirements to ensure a safe experience. If a major change is necessary, we will let you know before departure.
  • Our guide will use their judgment during the trip to modify the itinerary if physical distancing cannot be achieved
  • Our guide will receive in-depth training on COVID-19 protocols and how to conduct our journeys in the “new normal”.
  • Our guide will brief you upon arrival on the use of face masks and physical distancing during the trip, based on local government guidelines.
  • Only restaurants with strict protocols that comply with local food hygiene and physical distancing requirements will be used. We will encourage outdoor dining areas where possible.
  • All of our staff and third party suppliers will be continually informed of new health and safety protocols.

Transportation Protocols

  • Our drivers will follow local protocols on the use of face masks and physical distancing required.
  • Our drivers will provide alcohol-based hand sanitizer and tissues in the vehicle and encourage customers to wash their hands when getting into the vehicle.
  • All vehicles will be disinfected (seats, door handles, etc.) regularly throughout the day.
 

Protocols for Hotels

  • We will only offer hotels that have specific COVID-19 protocols in place and comply with local government guidelines.
  • We will ensure that these measures include; improved room cleaning, ventilation, physical distancing, regular cleaning and disinfection of high frequency touch points in public areas, food safety, staff retraining and minimization of contact within properties
 

If You Get Sick

  • All of our leaders are trained to help any guest who becomes ill while traveling.
  • We also have an “action plan” in case of suspected COVID-19 cases within the group and are ready to seek medical support at any time.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL TIME

DAY 2: DRIVE FROM ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE

luxury Tanzania safari tours & travel After breakfast you will drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for full day game drive in Tarangire National Park, The Park is particularly known for the abundance of Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them.

Fauna

The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, elephants, it is also known as Elephant paradise. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views to the river and wildlife. DAY 3: DRIVE TO MTO WA MBU VILLAGE

Breakfast then drive to Mto wa Mbu village where you will have village walk and excursion, and traditional Lunch. Mto Wa Mbu means Mosquito River. This small village in Tanzania is located between the Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara conservation area. It is crossed by a river which allows the inhabitants to irrigate and exploit their fields. It is characterized by its cultural and ethnic diversity.

Indeed

More than 20 groups coexist there in harmony. The locals give you a warm and friendly welcome. You will discover their daily life during the visit of the Mto wa mbu village. A guide explains herbal and root-based medicine. You will discover local agriculture, school education and banana cultivation. Do not hesitate to stop in one of the refreshments to taste this fruit. You can also taste different types of dishes thanks to the dinners and lunches organized by associations. These are local specialties that are consumed daily by Tanzanian families.

DAY 4: DRIVE FROM LAKE MANYARA TO NGORONGORO

Luxury Tanzania Safari tours & travel Drive from Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro farm house arrive for lunch after lunch you will have leisure or coffee farm walk, optional dinner and overnight will be at Ngorongoro Farm house. Ngorongoro Farmhouse is set on a 500-acre coffee farm, giving you the freedom to relax in the quiet beauty of the area. Take in the amazing views of Oldeani Volcano as you walk through the coffee plantation. The lodge is divided into two separate areas, each with its own communal lounge and bar areas creating a feeling of spaciousness. It’s designed as an old colonial farm and each room has been decorated using rustic local materials.

Ngorongoro Farm House

It is the perfect stop-over between safaris as it’s located just 4km from the entrance to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There is also a fantastic opportunity to visit the Hazabe and Datoga group in the lake Eyasi region. Relax by the sparkling swimming pool overlooking the Oldeani Volcano, or cycle around the plantation. On colder evenings, snuggle up in the lounge with a book in front of a crackling fire. DAY 5: NGORONGORO

Luxury Tanzania Safari tours & travel To day you will have early breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro for crater tour. We will start the day very early and descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth. After the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful Hippo Lake. After lunch, we will have time for short game drive and then ascend the crater and exit Ngorongoro Conservation Area and drive back to Ngorongoro Farm house for dinner and overnight.

LAKE HIPPO IN THE NGORONGORO CRATER

Hippos love water, which is why the Greeks called them the “river horse”. DAY 6: DRIVE FROM NGORONGORO TO SERENGETI

DAY 7: SERENGETI

It is the home of the Great Migration and to more than 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes including the abundant impalas and Thomson’s gazelles. As for Big Cats and large predators, it’s the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas. Smaller animals like foxes, mongoose, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, rock hyrax and African hares, together with more than 500 species of birds, also inhabit this park.
