DAY 1: ARRIVAL TIME TO NAEROBI

Arrival at Naerobi International Airport. You will be welcomed by HT Agency Tours Staff. Once you have cleared customs formalities, our Guide will smooth through the rest of the arrivals process. You will be transferred directly to your hotel for dinner.

DAY 2 - DAYS 3: NAEROBI - AMBOSELI

The day begins with an early breakfast followed by transfer to Wilson Airport for a flight to Amboseli National Park aboard a Safari Link flight. The destination is excellent for its breathtaking views, with Africa’s tallest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, as a backdrop. The first day is devoted to wild safaris in custom-designed safari vehicles. Devote the next day to walks in the bush with qualified local guides. The experience involves extravagant bush breakfasts, spectacular sunsets, with the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, a pillar. Amboseli is Kenya’s second-best wildlife destination for a reason. You won’t miss the picturesque view of the African elephant family setup. DAY 4: AMBOSELI – TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK

The day begins with a two-hour drive from Amboseli to Tsavo West, characterized by the abundance of breathtaking wildlife. The destination offers the most magnificent game viewing attraction, which includes leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, elephants, various species of plants and birds. While making the most of your time, the attractions will create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. You will also have the chance to have a magical experience on a short walk along the Mzima springs. These are series of four magical sources that make the experience magical. This also includes viewing other wildlife such as crocodiles, hippos, waterfowl, and blue and green monkeys. The destination is also excellent for enjoying the view of the Shetani lava flow which is 8 km long, 1.6 km wide and 5 m deep. The site is very special and quite spectacular to see and have a photoshoot with your loved ones. In the destination, you will also be able to enjoy the magnificent landscape of the Chillu Hills, which are made up of “five sisters” hills because they are located in the same area and they all look alike. The view is quite attractive and provides a fantastic experience. In the evening you can relax and enjoy your stay in the warm climate of Tsavo. The hotel offers the best evening meal experience which is sunset dinner with great experiences such as elegant cocktails served with choice meal to be savored while watching the magnificent African sunset spectacle.

DAY 5: TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

The day begins with an hour’s drive from Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park, which is Kenya’s largest protected area. The destination offers the best range of wildlife views and is home to Kenya’s largest elephant herds which you will enjoy watching wallowing and swimming in the sand. The Park is also home to a great pride of lions that you will enjoy watching. There are also other attractions in the destination, such as the Yatta Plateau, the largest lava flow in the world, Lugards Falls, the beauty of which is enhanced by interestingly shaped boulders, and the park also offers a magical safari experience with game viewing around the water sources. You will also enjoy observing other wildlife populations such as impalas, gazelles and zebras. Voi Wildlife is located nearby to provide exceptional, classic accommodation and a relaxing experience. It includes a sunset dinner. Sunset begins immediately, the sun begins its descent with a balmy evening drive to the rolling hills and bush food areas. As the sun sets, delicious meals are served with full bar service.

DAY 6: NAEROBI NATIONAL PARK

The day will start with a delicious early breakfast which will be followed by a flight to Nairobi for more sightseeing experiences. The first destination of the day will be the Elephant Orphanage, which is a nursery for endangered elephant species. In the destination, you will enjoy elephant food, play games and also have the option of adopting or sponsoring the education of young elephants. The next attraction will be the Giraffe Center, and you’ll have a mind-blowing experience feeding and watching how giraffes use their long necks and gripping tongues to pluck leaves from acacia trees. You will also get essential information about the lifespan and survival habits of the giraffe. In the center there is also an exclusive guest house where you can enjoy your delicious meals and refreshments. You will have a memorable dining experience as there are lovely gardens to eat while you have your meals while watching the giraffes roam free at Giraffe Manor After enjoying an afternoon at the giraffe center you will save some money energy for a safari in Nairobi National Park, the only wildlife capital in the world. You’ll enjoy a short drive filled with memorable experiences such as a wide array of wildlife including hyenas, giraffes, endangered black rhinos, cheetahs, and diverse wildlife. You will also enjoy hiking trails in the park. Carnivore Restaurant is also plentiful near Nairobi National Park, where you can enjoy Nairobi’s most exotic meal. The hotel offers a wide range of delicious dishes including meat dishes such as crocodile, camel, ostrich, followed by a range of side dishes, desserts and the best Kenyan coffee.

DAY 7 – DAY 10: MASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK

An early departure from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara, after breakfast, departure for your Safari flight to the famous Maasai Mara. The highlight of your 4 nights stay in the Mara includes unlimited morning / evening game drives, visit the authentic Maasai village. Enjoy morning and evening game drives at the Masai Mara, which include witnesses to the great wildebeest migration and the beauty of the Big Five wildlife. Enjoy a scenic safari as you make your way to the Sand River Mara where you will observe crowds of crocodiles on the rocks. A rich and marbled landscape of rolling plains, acacia thickets and thundering rivers, the Maasai Mara is home to many residents and migrating animals. The place lives up to its reputation as one of nature’s greatest theaters. In addition, it is home to over 60 species of mammals and over 500 recorded bird species. The Maasai Mara is a true African Eden. From August to October, you will witness one of the wonders of the world of wildebeest migration. DAY 11: MASAI MARA - NAIVASHA NATIONAL PARK

After the main breakfast, depart from Mara and take a scenic drive to Naivasha (3-4 hours’ drive), which offers spectacular views over the Mau escarpments, down to the bottom of the Rift Valley to the freshwater Lake Naivasha. After a moment of relaxation and a lunch break, head to Lake Naivasha, home to beautiful papyri and a haven for birding, walking, and fishing activities. Enjoy dinner in the bush with a range of cultural entertainment at Naivasha Country Club Resort.

DAY 12: NAIVASHA - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Take an hour’s drive in the morning to Nakuru and enjoy the vegetation, beautiful climate and the Rift Valley escarpment. Nakuru offers a range of sightseeing activities, including a visit to Lake Nakuru, and enjoys various species of birds and flamingos; Game drives in Nakuru National Park with cool temperatures, migrating birds, lions, buffaloes, elephants and other types of wildlife. Dinner at Lake Nakuru Lodge where delicious meals are served and exceptional service focused on guest values.

DAY 13: NAKURU NAIROBI

Today, after leaving Nakuru after a morning game drive, enjoy Nairobi’s scenic drive – Nakuru Highway. Upon arrival in town, you will head to Lancet Labs in Upper Hill for the covid19 test (the $ 70 per person test will take 24 hours.) Then, visit the city of Nairobi on a driving tour to explore the beauty of the city, which includes the capital’s shopping areas, local streets, views of important buildings, and city road maps. After a lunch break, the tour also offers a visit to cultural spaces such as the National Museum, Karen Blixen Museum, Bomas of Kenya and African Heritage. Return to the hotel in the evening and enjoy wonderful, relaxing and delicious dining spaces in the world class restaurant.

DAY 14: NAEROBI – DEPARTURE

You will have had the greatest experience in the city of fresh water, Nairobi. Take the day at your leisure while savoring your experience. You will then be dropped off at the international airport according to your flight schedule.

Kenya is located on the equator and has a pleasant tropical climate, but there are large regional climatic variations influenced by several factors, including altitude. Daytime temperatures in Kenya average between 20 ° C / 68 ° F and 28 ° C / 82 ° F, but it is warmer on the coast.

  • Equipment

HT Agency Tours offers torches for nocturnal wildlife walks, a water bottle. Please bring camera film (and spare batteries), binoculars and a beach towel and swimwear. Lightweight walking bootshoes and trainers is recommended. Clothing should be lightweight, but a warm sweater or jacket is advisable as nights at altitude and under desert conditions can be very cold, even in summer and especially in July to September. Rainwear is highly recommended on all tours for the occasional shower. Warmer layers will be required during the winter months.

  • Insurance

It is a condition of booking with HT Agency Tours that you have adequate valid travel insurance. It is your responsibility to arrange appropriate travel insurance and ensure you have read and understood the full terms and conditions of your travel insurance policy to ensure that you are covered for all activities you intend to undertake whilst on the tour, including all optional activities. Your Insurance Policy must fully cover you for medical expenses and emergency repatriation to your home country. Please ensure your policy includes medical emergency helicopter evacuation in the event of illness or injury and covers the entire duration of your holiday. If you are trekking at altitude, please ensure that there is no upper altitude limit which may limit or exclude cover for your trip.

  • Vaccinations

Yes, some vaccines are recommended or required for Kenya. The National Travel Health Network and Centre and WHO recommend the following vaccinations for Kenya: hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, cholera, yellow fever, rabies, meningitis, polio and tetanus.

  • Food

Kenyan breakfasts tend to be a fairly sparse meal compared to Western meals. Generally, most Kenyans start their day with Chai (Swahili word for tea), which is usually very milky and sweet. The chai is accompanied by a piece of bread (mkate in Swahili) and perhaps a piece of fruit. Ugali is undoubtedly the national food in Kenya. It looks like polenta (raw Italian cornmeal) and is on every Kenyan menu.

  • Given the fluid nature of local COVID-19 protocols, our itineraries are regularly reviewed and will be modified based on local requirements to ensure a safe experience. If a major change is necessary, we will let you know before departure.
  • Our guide will use their judgment during the trip to modify the itinerary if physical distancing cannot be achieved
  • Our guide will receive in-depth training on COVID-19 protocols and how to conduct our journeys in the “new normal”.
  • Our guide will brief you upon arrival on the use of face masks and physical distancing during the trip, based on local government guidelines.
  • Only restaurants with strict protocols that comply with local food hygiene and physical distancing requirements will be used. We will encourage outdoor dining areas where possible.
  • All of our staff and third party suppliers will be continually informed of new health and safety protocols.

Transportation Protocols

  • Our drivers will follow local protocols on the use of face masks and physical distancing required.
  • Our drivers will provide alcohol-based hand sanitizer and tissues in the vehicle and encourage customers to wash their hands when getting into the vehicle.
  • All vehicles will be disinfected (seats, door handles, etc.) regularly throughout the day.

Protocols for Hotels

  • We will only offer hotels that have specific COVID-19 protocols in place and comply with local government guidelines.
  • We will ensure that these measures include; improved room cleaning, ventilation, physical distancing, regular cleaning and disinfection of high frequency touch points in public areas, food safety, staff retraining and minimization of contact within properties

  • All of our leaders are trained to help any guest who becomes ill while traveling.
  • We also have an “action plan” in case of suspected COVID-19 cases within the group and are ready to seek medical support at any time.
