Ghana
Ghanaian culture is rich in festivals, especially around the Independence celebrations on March 6, but also through out the year. Mole National Park to the north is the largest natural reserve in the country, for fans of walking and driving safaris. One of the most visible (and marketable) cultural contributions of modern Ghana is the kente, widely recognized and appreciated for its colors and symbolism. Ghana is located in the Gulf of Guinea, just north of the equator. It shares borders with Côte d ‘Ivoire to the west, Togo to the east and Burkina Faso to the north.
