The use of a private plane and helicopter transfers was an absolute game-changer. For instance, after our flight from Tana (Antananarivo), he brilliantly organized a river cruise and a visit to the small Tsingy on our first afternoon. This was a masterstroke! It allowed us to have a fantastic and manageable experience, perfectly preparing us for the grandeur of the big Tsingy de Bemaraha the next day. This thoughtful planning maximized our enjoyment and acclimatization.Throughout the excursions, Tahiry was consistently polite, kind, and incredibly helpful. We had 2 elderly guests in our group, and his patience and support were remarkable. At the small Tsingy, he went above and beyond, offering a steady arm and encouragement to ensure they could safely navigate the hike and enjoy every moment. He has a genuine warmth and caring nature that puts everyone at ease.Furthermore, his fluency in both English and French was a huge asset, making communication seamless and allowing him to connect with everyone in our group. He is a true professional and a wonderful ambassador for his country.We cannot recommend Tahiry Herizo highly enough. An Adventure into Madagascar
I took HT Agency Tours ‘Madagascar Group Safari/Classic’ 10 days in May, 2025. Tahiry, my tour guide was EXCELLENT!!!! He knew the information about the environment, geographical areas, tribes, history, and current lifestyles in Madagascar. He has passion for his country that he wants to share. His English communication skills are great. Tahiry was punctual, had everything in order, always ready to help.The tour was an adventure. Beware the roads in Madagascar are riddled with holes the size of a car. The driving is slow. In return, with slow driving, take in the countryside, each small village, the cultures and people that line the roads walking, biking, and yes running. For me the emersion into the various tribe cultures was fascinating. The tour had a bit of everything that made for a good selection of things to do and see. The lemurs do not disappoint. You might also have a brown lemur jump from a tree to your head. The various calls of lemurs were like different people’s languages. Lemur Island was my favorite. I enjoyed the crafts persons that labored in their art like many generations before them. Hotels and lodges were far better than I expected. Bethanjy has the best pate de foie-gras. Madagascar made easy
A friend and I booked a 2-week tour of Madagascar with HT Agency (the Best Discover tour). It was an outstanding experience. Madagascar is a beautiful country with fascinating wildlife. The tour took us to numerous different parts of the island, mainly by private car with a driver (Tina) and guide (Tahiri), but also included 2 internal flights (see below). We saw some beautiful scenery and cultural sites, but above all we visited various wildlife reserves, where we were able to view different species of lemurs and other animals in their natural environment. The organisation of the tour was excellent. The hotels we stayed in were of high quality, with the exception of a couple of lodge-style hotels in more remote areas, but even they were comfortable with excellent staff. The food (breakfast and dinners were always included) was generally of French-style cuisine, and was invariably good and in some cases outstanding. Our guide Tahiri was excellent - always well organised, friendly and accommodating.Just one word of warning. Originally we were meant to take an internal flight back to the capital Antananarivo on our last day to connect with our flight back home. However, the flight (with Madagascar Airlines) was rescheduled at the last minute, meaning that we had to return to Antananarivo overland, resulting in a very long journey (the roads in Madagascar are generally poor). However, HT Agency took care of all the arrangements, so all was well. Lifetime experience all over Madgascar
HT Agency Tours put together a lifetime experience for our family of 5. I worked with Toki to design the package. He was very responsive, with perfect English, at all hours of the day, including weekends. He also served as our guide and was with us from the moment we cleared customs until he dropped us at the airport. The hotels/lodges he chose were all top notch, and we had nice new SUVs with professional drivers to transport us at each location. He also chartered a small plane and helicopter, with government pilots, to get us from one part of the country to the other. Finally, Toki demonstrated very high EQ throughout the trip, always accommodating my family's needs and getting along well with us as a friend. He was the best guide we've ever had after visiting more than 120 countries around the world. HT agency will not be your cheapest option in Madagascar, but you get what you pay for. Amazing places and countries to travel
We will have fond memories of our 17-day Madagascar tour, which we booked through HT Agency. We traveled with our driver/guide, whom we highly recommend. He always got us to our destination safely, told us a lot about his country and made the long car journey as pleasant as possible! We contacted HT Agency via email in advance to plan the trip. Memorable Madagascar Tours
We travel to Madagascar for several days and we want to see lemurs in many national parks, and see Baobab Avenue. With Davu professional help we were carefully prepared how long to stay and what to visit. We were very happy with our drivers and guides, who took care of us on difficult and challenging roads every day to take us safely to our destination. They are knowledgeable and share many interesting facts about the flora and fauna of Madagascar, the traditions and customs of the Malagasy, and their history.
